Kotor Bay by Motorhome: Size, Parking & Toll Planning

Checked 27 August 2026 · Official sources where available

Quick answer

Kotor Bay is spectacular but not where you want to discover that your motorhome is too tall, long or awkward for the parking you chose. Preselect an overnight/campsite outside the tightest historic-centre streets and treat the bay as a day-trip zone.

Camper rule: local signs, protected-area rules and police/municipal instructions always beat a general country guide. Vehicle category can depend on height, axles and maximum authorised mass.

Before entering the bay

  • Know exact height, length and width.
  • Check the last practical turnaround point before following a navigation shortcut.
  • Avoid “shortest route” settings that can send a large motorhome onto narrow local roads.

Toll context

  • If your route uses the Sozina Tunnel, a typical two-axle motorhome over 1.9 m and ≤3.5 t is category III at €5 under the current official price list.
  • If you use the Bar–Boljare motorway on the way, category and distance determine the price.
  • No national vignette is required.
