Albania Campervan Tolls in 2026: No Vignette, but Route-Specific Fees
Checked 27 August 2026 · Official sources where available
Quick answer
Albania does not use one national motorway vignette. It does, however, have toll charging on selected infrastructure. The official Rruga e Kombit concession documentation describes a toll system and vehicle-class multipliers, so camper drivers should plan by route and vehicle dimensions.
Camper rule: local signs, protected-area rules and police/municipal instructions always beat a general country guide. Vehicle category can depend on height, axles and maximum authorised mass.
Rruga e Kombit / A1
- The official concession page gives a base passenger/light-vehicle rate of €5 and higher class multipliers for larger vehicles.
- A typical tall motorhome can be classified differently from an ordinary passenger car, so do not budget using the car price by default.
- Keep euro and lek available and follow the toll-booth vehicle class shown on site.
No sticker to buy at the border
- There is no single Albania vignette product that unlocks all roads.
- Future/new concessions can change the list of tolled sections, so route-specific verification matters more than an old “Albania is toll-free” blog post.
